Class Schedule and Sign Up

I will be holding classes on Friday 7/16 at 7:00, Saturday 7/24 at 1:00 and again on Monday 7/26 at 6:00.  Please see post from July 3rd to see the cards we will be making and see the post from July 8th to learn about my new rewards program.  Hope to see you all soon. 

Please comment here with your name and the date that you wish to attend.  Each class will be limited to 6 people but remember if you have a group of 4 or more we can schedule a private class.

New Rewards Program

It seems that everybody has a rewards program now so I have come up with one for Creative Distractionz.  Here is how it will work...

For every 20 points you earn you will receive a certificate for a free 10 for 10 class.  How do you earn points you ask?  Well, let me tell you.

You will earn 2 points for each of the following:
Attending a paid class
Bringing someone new to a paid class
Being the first to reserve a spot at a scheduled class

You will earn 1 point for the following:
Signing up for the e-mail mailing list
Becoming a follower on this blog
Being the second person to reserve a spot at a scheduled class

I will also post ways to get points randomly on the blog so make sure you check back often!


Class dates for July will be posted today so the first points will be available soon.

Background Check

I don't have much time because I need to get out to the campground.  Really need the pool right now.  Do you have any idea how hot an attic can get when you are stamping?  I did get the cards done for the July classes.  Let me know what you think.

Enough slacking...

I really haven't done anything in way too long but I am starting classes again this month.  I have updated the blog with a new look (let me know if you like it) for summer.  The new class this month will be "Background Check".  We will be doing 5 different styles of backgrounds for our cards.  I also have an idea in the works for a reward program details will be available here on the blog later this weekend along with the cards for the new class.  Hope everyone has a great weekend and a Happy and Safe 4th of July.

A long weekend

I took a vacation day today before the long weekend and will be doing housecleaning today so that I can enjoy the weekend.  I am hoping to get some cards done for swaps and also get the sample cards ready for the June classes.  Will post class dates later this weekend. 

May Class-Spring Cleaning

The new class will be starting on May 1st at 12:00.  We will be doing 10 cards for $10.00 again. We will use "Cleaning Supplies" for this class.  Bleach, dryer sheets, baby wipes Oh the fun we will have.  I have a picture of 4 of the cards and the 5th will be a surprise (okay, I don't have it planned yet).

A great weekend

I had a great time in Aledo this weekend.  Mandi runs a fantastic scrap retreat and we always have so much fun.  I of course am the one that goes to sleep first and even I stayed up until midnight both nights this weekend.  I actually won a challenge this time (and it wasn't a stamped card).  I absolutely love the layout and will have to take a picture and get it posted tonight. 

Mandi always has the most creative challenges for us!!  We have a saying down there that "It's all about the ticket"  Tickets are great because you can win some awesome prizes but let me tell you, you can also end up with some...let's say interesting pages. 

Well lunch is about over so I must get back to work.  Will try to post tonight with pictures of the layouts.

First stamp class

I have finally started my new classes.  Had a couple friends over on Saturday to try the cards for me and then had my first official class last night.  I think that they went well.  Still planning a couple more for this month.  Let me know if you are interested in attending a class.  :)

A new blog and starting classes.

Hi everyone and welcome to my new blog!  First thing out the gate is that I am starting stamp classes again. 
Let me know if you are interested in hearing more about the classes. 

Secondly, this blog will be more about my "Creative Distractionz"  I will be posting more of my cards, scrapbooking and other creative endeavors on this blog.
